The secret behind the chains' amazing performance is D.I.D's exclusive pin hardening process.
This forms an extremely hard layer on the surface but keeps the pin core softer. In contact with hard foreign objects, these chains are particularly resistant, while they easily absorb shocks. In addition, they are well protected against rust.
The specially shaped D.I.D-X ring seals significantly change the friction surface of the link plates. At the same time, the doubling of the sealing points from 2 to 4 results in a much higher level of safety against lubricant loss and perfect protection against contamination.
