Unlike most manufacturers, R&G Racing uses de-embrittled high-tensile steel bolts which are designed to bend on impact rather than to shear or snap. In addition, compression sleeves are included inside the bobbins which are designed to allow the retaining bolts to be torqued to the correct specification and not to work loose though vibration.

Utilising the same material as in the famous R&G Aero Bobbins, these skidders combine the excellent crash resistance required with the subtle styling a skidder allows, allowing for a lower profile product - as such this product is rated for racing and track use where core component protection is key and the fairing no so.
