RST has signed up the young Belgian rider Barry Baltus, who will compete this year in the Moto2 World Championship with the NTS RW Racing GP team. He will ride under the colors of BIHR, RST, ARAI and SIDI.
Barry Baltus, a 16 year old Belgian rider, has joined RST for the next two seasons. The English equipment manufacturer pursues its ascent by integrating for the first time one of the major categories of the MotoGP World Championship. RST was already involved in 2020 as a sponsor of Kenny Foray in the Moto-E World Championship.
Baltus, who is a member of the Black Knights (Belgian national team of top motorsports talent) made his debut in the Redbull Rookies Cup in which he finished on the podium twice. He also competed in the CEV Moto3 Junior World Championship in 2018 and 2019, which gave him one win and 3 podiums to his record. His Grand Prix career began during the 2020 season resumption in Jerez de la Frontera in the Moto3 category. After a promising year (seven times in the top 20), he moves to the next category in 2021 with a transfer to Moto2 in the NTS RW Racing GP team.
Barry BALTUS is a BIHR, ARAI and SIDI driver since last season. RST joins these sponsors for two more years and increases its commitment to the World Speed Championships.
